Mission: A Christian Response to Human Needs
Since 1969, Baxter has been a Christian Response to Human Needs in our community. We have four main pillars of programming. Our Wholistic Health Clinic serves uninsured and underinsured families, providing medical, dental, counseling, WIC, prayer, and vision care for adults and children. Our Nationally Accredited Child Development Center provides high quality childcare for children 6 weeks-12 years of age. Our Mizizi Maji Mentoring Program serves students 8-18yrs of age, with weekly group meetings, one on one mentoring, tutoring, trips, and more. Our Marketplace includes our food and clothing pantry, Senior programming, free tax preparation, budgeting classes, urban agriculture cooking and gardening classes, and more.
